Youth Program

"Our Youth Program Builds Confindence in Your Child"

  We offer private lessons and group classes of all types for organizations like Boy scounts, summer camps, community groups and church youth groups as well as birthday parties. Our friday night classes are from 7-9 pm at SMITHPOINT ARCHERY located at 215 E.main St. Patchogue (behind Carvel)  and the lesson always starts with safety, then we identify the various componets of archery equipment, followed by mechanics and form of shooting a bow.

ATTENTION FUTURE HUNTERS!!
We also offer bow hunting workshops for Fathers/Sons teams  (11 years and up/compound bow & equipment required)  interested in getting their NYS hunting license. This program is held on saturdays during the late spring and summer months outdoors from 1-3 pm where your child can experience the great fun and excitment of being a great bow-hunter in a outdoor setting. Workshops include safety,  shooting from the ground and at various plateform heights, use of self climber and safety harness as well as scounting and stand placement.

Archery is a great confidence building sport that your child will enjoy the challange of participating in!

Passing on our passion, knowledge and love for the sport of archery is essential and vital to ensure the future of the sport. Introducing and encouraging a young person to get involved in archery is much more than showing them a new hobby or sport.
